From Bologna Central Station

On foot: Exit the station and walk down Via dell'Indipendenza to Piazza Maggiore, then turn right onto Via Clavature.
By bus: Take bus No. 27 or 11 and get off at the Rizzoli stop, then walk a few minutes.
By cab: The ride takes about 5-7 minutes.

From the airport

By cab: It will take you directly to Via Clavature in about 15-20 minutes.
By bus (Marconi Express + Bus): Take the Marconi Express to Central Station, then follow the directions above to get there on foot or by bus.

By car

The historic center of Bologna is Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). If you arrive by car, you can park in nearby garages such as:
Garage Piazza Maggiore (Via Carbonara, 4)
Garage San Pietro (Via Fossalta, 3)
Staveco parking lot (with shuttle bus to the center)



Where to park

For those who prefer to leave their cars outside the ZTL and walk to the Queen Sophia, the APCOA Parking Lot in Piazza VIII Agosto is an ideal solution.
Located just outside the ZTL, it avoids access problems.
Distance from the facility: Only 800 meters on foot.
Recommended route: From Piazza VIII Agosto, walk down Via Indipendenza, Bologna's main shopping street with boutiques and big brands. A pleasant walk in the heart of the city that will lead you directly to our facility.

Regina Sofia is located in a prime location in the heart of Bologna, within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL).


If you need temporary access to the ZTL for loading/unloading luggage, you can apply for a special permit directly through the official portal of the Municipality of Bologna.
